Todd Grubbs,
Founder and President of TWIST Inc.
Todd founded TWIST with the passion to help others achieve their desired
dreams. After nine years of being a very successful stylist, he launched
TWIST salon in 2002. He is a very accomplished colorist and stylist.
His work has been published both in print and on television. Receiving
his education at Aveda and the Rudy and Kelly Academy, he went on to
become one of Rudy and Kelly's all time top producers. With his business
background and drive, it was just a matter of time before he ventured
into having his own salon.
During the planning phase of TWIST salon, Todd was diagnosed with cancer.
With the support of his family and friend Marty Martinez he became more
focused on his plans. During treatment there was never any doubt that
he would not see his plans come to fruition. After finishing his cancer
treatments, plans were turned into actions and TWIST was born. Now five
years later, with an awesome business partner and a very talented team,
TWIST SALON has become one of Hampton Roads, Virginia top salons.
Todd is married to Stephanie and has two delightful girls, McKenzie and
Delaney Reece.

Luis "Marty" Martinez,
Founder and Vice President
Luis is the co-founder of TWIST Salon. His dedication and loyalty is
what makes TWIST succeed everyday. After serving in the United States
Navy, Luis received his education at the Ward's Corner Academy. Luis
became a top stylist for Anthony and Company and then a top stylist for
Rudy and Kelly.
As time passed, his business relationship grew with founder, Todd Grubbs.
Together they launched TWIST salon in 2002. Five years later, Luis has
taken charge of the majority of the day to day
operations of TWIST.
Along with his TWIST business, Luis has also launched a very successful
real estate investment company.
In his spare time Luis enjoys hitting the surf and has surfed in Costa
Rica, Hawaii, and Mexico. Luis is married to Brenda
and has a wonderful daughter, Victoria.
